I use a gas mask when working with each tree as many others are just as toxic if not more toxic. This isn't the first time I've worked with ironwood. I'm wearing a jumpsuit, tape it to my gloves. So if you're using ironwood, educate yourself on the health and safety of using personal protective equipment.
