I switched to this one from a previous VANMASS phone mount because I liked the brand and style of my previous one, but I added a pop- Socket Brand Grip on the back of my case making it too thick for the holder. I ordered an updated version through Revain's Wherehouse Deals. Presumably they check everything to make sure you have all the original parts and if not they should disclose it. My "Used" list didn't state that a dash mount was missing and either the sticky grip for sucking on the dash mount or the dash mount became unusable. It was very uncomfortable. I contacted VANMASS for a sticky grip/tape replacement and let's just say they MORE than cared for me. I knew it was a good idea to be their regular customer. I will definitely come again. This mount is very easy to install and use. Plan how to position the phone holder extensions before attaching the mount to the dashboard. This will help determine the rotation of the round bracket before you have to glue, twist and lock it. It will make sense when you actually do it. My pen phone was 5/8 inch thick I believe and it fits great. My husband has an Otterbox on his iPhone 8 and it's holding up great too. Your phone slides in and out at the top like a shirt pocket.
