Blue light blows my mind

I bought this for the bedside table in our guest room. I wanted guests to be able to plug in their phones and laptops for charging without having to find an outlet. 4 different guests. Everyone did the same thing, disconnected from the network. The ambient lighting is too bright. It won't turn off and they couldn't sleep. So I moved it to the office.
