Review on 📀 Sony Silver DVP-NS55P/S Single Disc DVD Player by Vangele Carson

Bought this DVD player; came defective - loud buzz on audio channels. Sony tech support confirmed this was a marriage and sent it back. Revain was great, sent a replacement straight away. The second had the same defect. Turned off the player from another room - no buzzing. What is the probability of this happening twice? Not high. Unless it is a design or manufacturing defect. My real issue with Sony is that they offer a replacement but don't promise a new one (it can be repaired) and don't offer expedited shipping even for a second failed unit - weeks of waiting. So much for their commitment to quality! I returned the #2 Revain and bought a Toshiba. Works perfectly.
