I found this leather strap a bit flimsy. I wasn't wrong. When I compared it to the last piece of real 3mm line from another better quality reel, it looked noticeably smaller. To be sure, I measured with calipers and it turned out to be only 2.6mm in diameter. Now, the difference of 0.4 mm may seem so insignificant as to seem trivial, but when it comes to jewelry, you're wrong. The thinner or smaller the object, the greater the difference even with an error of 0.4mm. Even more revealingly, it just doesn't look thick enough for a bolo cord. The quality isn't very good either; There was a section of braided cord from which the top layer was peeling off. I don't buy anymore, I feel cheated.
