- Made in China - Body thin, cheap plastic, very thin - Headlight - single LED, not very bright - Flashlight function is very useful and easy to use too. This is an LED strip - The carrying handle feels nice, soft, rubbery - There is an extra pair of holes in the body if you want to switch the handle from side to top carrying - Holds 3 AA batteries (included ) - Lens Real Glass1 arrived with a broken headlight ring and a dangling plastic reflector. I glued great. Now it screws on, but it's really flimsy plastic. This one also has a large crack in the lantern body. The other works, but something rattles inside. The battery compartment is easy to access, but only because it's not very tight. It has a bar in the middle that you pick up and twist, and it only takes half a turn to take it off. It has already been opened several times. Overall not impressive, even if nothing broke. They're huge for just 270 lumens, totally unnecessary. I have several pairs of different types, less than half but lighter. I was going to give 2 stars because at least one of them worked but considering the rattle inside I bet it won't last long and I'm generally very dissatisfied with them so 1 star.
