I've used them for two seasons and they've held up well. Their main limitation is that they are held in place by an elastic rubber band. If these boots get caught in ice or snow, they can slide off the bottom of the heel and land on the back of the heel. This has only happened to me when working in the snow on uneven surfaces. I've had no problems walking on snow or ice and that's what I use them for (still have a problem going downhill although they haven't slipped off yet). I use the Stabilicer Hiker whenever I need traction in all conditions. You should order replacement cleats as they wear out, especially when running on bare roads where the ice has melted.
