I love him but he has problems. Read carefully.

I like this thing but it has some problems. It's easy to clean and my two cats fit in perfectly and each has a place to lie down and still have room to stretch out. The included pad doesn't stick to the bottom, so it's an issue if you have a cat that likes to dig under things and the bottom isn't airtight. Also, the bottom is not rigid at all, so cats will be squeezed when carrying it due to the sagging bottom. I cut out a thin but strong piece of plywood and attached the liner with velcro (so I can easily remove it for cleaning) and now the box is rigid and cats don't have to squeeze when I carry it. I can still easily fold the storage box. In addition, if you have an escape master, you can easily escape from this crate. Both of my cats quickly learned to climb out and I had to stop 3 times in a 30 minute drive to swap them inside. I had to crawl across the seats to retrieve each cat, afraid if I opened the door I wouldn't see any of them again. I ended up tying the zippers together so they wouldn't come undone on the ride home. Then they were unable to unzip the zippers enough to get out. The only downside is that the straps have to be cut when folding or releasing the crampons. I'm still looking for a good alternative to this. I like the straps on the bottom of the drawer. I have a Landcover and can easily attach the straps to the four eyebolts in the Land Rover boot floor. They prevent the box from slipping or tipping over if I have to step on the brakes or anything like that. I like this feature because I live on a campus with new learner drivers who sometimes don't use their heads. Foldable side flaps are a nice touch, but the velcro straps were too long for them so I had to cut them off. shorter. I rarely use them as covering the cage with a thin blanket keeps my anxious cat at times calm rather than looking out of the cage. I really think this crate would work well for a small dog. My sister's Miniature Schnauzer fits in perfectly and has room to stretch. However, both schnauzers are a bit close in that.
