Fine quality tortoiseshell claws at a great price. The hair claws are larger than average, but not large. They are 3.5 inches long and do a great job of holding all of my hair when I want to knot or twist it. My hair is quite long, but also very thin. I would say these claws aren't really big enough for those with very long or very thick hair to gather all their hair, but they do for a partial updo. They break much less often. They have a beautiful opaque appearance and a smooth, rounded shape; They are very smooth so there are no rough edges to scratch my scalp or snag on my hair. The feather is coiled neatly and tightly + it's covered to keep it from snagging on the hair. Two small metal/thorn clips. This set also includes duckbill bobby pins; one that fits every hair claw. They are well made with tiny teeth and good grip and hold a small amount of hair. The current price of $3.99 for this gorgeous hair clip set is a pretty good deal.
