Aesthetically pleasing simple design. However, don't expect this stand to be as strong as a stand without bolt-on hinges that lock the stand in place by friction. The screws that attach the hinges are not as big or strong as shown in the product images, in my opinion. As a reminder of this statement, the stand comes with a small Allen wrench for tightening, which is not much thicker and longer (on the long side) than a matchstick. While you can overtighten the screws, I understand that I can overtighten and remove them. Just tightening them and getting the stand in the right position can be a bit of a hassle. If you're worried about the jiggling, please note that it's not possible to get rid of it completely here. This will inevitably happen if you need to interact with the keyboard from time to time. It holds up to all of that, but doesn't inspire much confidence in my experience, especially on larger 17-inch or heavy laptops.
