I had to shave off the inside a bit to allow the bezel to fit over the buttons and other part. Basically the shape isn't perfect, I'm sure I only got one bad one, I'm not sure if they are all like that. Keep in mind that I ordered one for my Xbox Series X controller and my Elite Series 2 controller and the X Series controller is the only one that gave me problems. Also, the rear or side grips would be better if they had the same textured feel as the original controller, but that doesn't mean this one isn't good, just that I would say it would be what I would prefer.
