not as sturdy as I hoped

I bought this for my desk at school. The middle divider between the shelves and the file holders was missing a hole for the screw, so it couldn't be tighten. Since it couldn't be tighten, it doesn't make the shelves nice and tight. There are extras pieces left over so that left me confused (no mention of these pieces in the instructions). The instructions were easy to understand, but the zoomed in portions were not clear. Once I get it to school, I will see how sturdy it is when I get it full of stuff.

This organizer was very easy to set up. It looks very contemporary and holds a lot of stuff
