Review on Rockport Darwyn Xband Sandal Coach Men's Shoes in Athletic by Brandon Mercado

These things are actually almost perfect for me. They replace the Vionics flip flops I was wearing, my last pair of three pairs of this discontinued item that I bought on a whim. I bought these and those specifically for the bold/wide side design. I love this design because I know from years of experience that this design is great for all day and everything. (I know this because years ago I literally climbed a mountain in Asia wearing a foam pair of this design when I obviously wore this style for everything). It's surprisingly hard to find a pair like this with a side-to-side design. Nor does it look like a pair of clown shoes adorned with branded paraphernalia. Yes, this pair has the Rockport symbol on the strap, but thankfully it's small and understated. So when it comes to style and design, this pair is spot on. The only other things to worry about are fit and wear. I admit that I have my doubts about the bulging nylon insole. My concern was/is in two parts: A) A thick bed will be slippery and not suitable for long and hard use including walking or jogging. I'm happy to report that I've taken several long walks totaling miles of hikes and they work well for this app. However, they don't walk well and require clenching their toes to keep them in place. However, I understand that most people don't buy them to run, so I'll file this complaint. B) I was afraid that the smooth nylon insole would make my feet sweaty and smelly from retained foot fluid and accumulated dirt; Many other flip flops and slippers have a rubber or nylon insole that acts like a hard surface. I'm happy to report that these flip flops don't make my feet sweat excessively and stay surprisingly fresh even as I use them more and more. I am very very happy with this pair of sandals and will definitely be buying another one. a few when worn out. Also, I recommend them to everyone.
