The new one may seem comfortable, but it is. The mount doesn't want to stick to the windshield. The mount falls off very often and is likely to damage the GPS it is holding in place. The lack of suction in the tool makes it fall off the windshield. .It also makes a rattling sound that can't be avoided no matter what you do! I've had problems with this several times while driving and when I park the car and come back only to find it's on the floor of the car. But we have no choice but to live with it as GPS is great. I think Magellan should show more interest in making him a better keeper.
