Lots of ports, maximum flexibility, very poor design and erratic behavior.

Bought to have a plugin for my Mac when it's in clamshell mode. In theory, it gives me almost total freedom to choose which monitors I can hook up from time to time, and my favorite feature (which is broken - read on), a 3.5mm headphone and mic jack, so I mean full too can get -mature Logitech computer. speaker for work. Pros: Sturdy exterior construction. Many more ports than the competition. Reasonable price. I noticed that some things are not recognized at system startup. Usually, reconnecting the laptop's power supply to the hub and/or to the Mac was sufficient to initialize all devices, although it took several attempts. I'm not sure if it's a problem where the dock MUST be powered or if it's an OS issue, but since only some of the USB ports + audio jack have this defect I think that the dock is to blame. - One of the main reasons I bought this was because of the many video connections. I needed flexibility and really had a reason to use the displayport input one day. It turned out that my device couldn't handle the connection, which caused me to have visual snow and the port became unusable. Worst insult (for me): 3.5mm audio jack broke internally. At first everything was fine (even if it was not always recognized, see the previous scam), but over time the channel became very loud, and then disappeared the audio signal on the right channel. Thinking it was my cable at first, I tried plugging it back in and noticed that the internal 3.5mm connector was so loose that it disappeared. maybe it isn't. It's a shame that the quality of the internal processing didn't live up to the performance requirements for such a functional docking station. I recommend the buyer either look for other solutions or take the time to test each and every port on your device prior to prolonged use to determine if you may need a refund. Video signal to USB information. M1 Mac CANNOT run more than one internal display without this hardware workaround that this dock doesn't help with other than having free USB 3.0 ports. This uses the HDMI output.
