Review on πŸ“± 2 Pack Paperfeel Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 (2021/2020/2018) - Anti-Glare PET Film with Easy Installation Kit by Ryan Hampton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for drawing and great for typing

Friction - I bought this mainly for added friction when using a pencil. For this purpose it works great. The texture is less like carbon paper and more like carbon paper with teeth. I used to use a screen protector that felt more like regular smooth paper. It felt more natural as the friction is quite aggressive on this one, but both are equally easy to draw and far outperform the bare glossy screen. I really liked the texture. Glare - to be honest, this aspect of the pedaling function is not that important to me. At the same time, the anti-reflective coating is quite good. No harsh reflections, but very bright lights give the screen a "foggy" diffused glow. Image sharpness may not be as sharp as the bare screen either, but I honestly didn't notice it. The installation is the reason for the five star rating. I managed to apply it without bubbles the first time, unlike my previous screen protector which took several tries and gave a final result that was still to be desired. The instructions provided are not very good, but I found a YouTube video that explains this method. Basically, before removing the backing, they provide you with a tread alignment tape so it runs perfectly straight. All in all very recommendable.
