I have been using ultrasonic electric toothbrushes (Philips) for 20 years. I don't know why I did this, but I tried the rotating head on an Oral-B toothbrush. Compared to ultrasound I actually feel like it works a lot better (and that's saying a lot because I loved my ultrasound). I'm amazed at how many times you can use this thing before you have to charge it. However, this item is very expensive and I winced when I clicked the 'Add to Cart' button. However, time passed. and I've been thinking more about how often it's used, how well it works, and the importance of good oral hygiene. I'm happy with the price now. In conclusion, the rotary approach to brushing actually works better than the vibratory approach to ultrasonics, so you're going to have to take a shock price to get this thing in your bathroom.
