Review on ๐Ÿ๏ธ Global Vision Big Ben Motorbike Goggles by Stanley Redline

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not what I was hoping for.

I bought these glasses thinking they were a notch or two better than the regular glasses I normally wear, when I ride my bike through the city Combination of darkness and windy/rainy weather. I figured these goggles would be a way to protect my eyes while also protecting my nose and mouth from the extreme cold with a balaclava. Barely. With the combination of glasses + open face, the glasses still fog up. when I exhale through my mouth in certain head positions and/or when driving slowly or in a headwind. Because they're much less ventilated than sunglasses or goggles, they take a lot longer to defog from them (in fact, I often have to stop and wipe the tar with a handkerchief, the end of a scarf, or the back of a hat). cold weather gloves). I definitely can't wear them at the same time as a balaclava mask. Generally they work partially in cold rainy weather (and work commendably on the rare occasion I have to ride in snow or sleet), but the fogging issue is probably worse in warm summer rain, to the point where I feel better about myself only drive around with my sunglasses/goggles for eye protection.

Pros
  • Very flexible, very strong glasses with TPR rubber frame that fits easily over most glasses
Cons
  • sad packaging
