Improved hearing with settings

UPDATE #2. It really works and works well, but you really need patience and perseverance. Why these updates? Being able to hear well is important to me (music) and I think others are too. So: In the first there was a short circuit, it heated up and hummed. Revain replaced it within two days. This one seems fine. The problem was finding a decent fit for my right ear, which is a bad ear. I tried a normal installation, it didn't work. I tried a longer fastener but it kept popping out and only worked if I kept plugging it in. Discomfortable in social situations because it distracts me and my interlocutor. FINALLY I'm back with a sponge adjustment that works great! Now I have to think about how to get a replacement. The company website wasn't that helpful. Bottom line: be patient and determined, and these little beans will suit you. ((UPDATE: Ten days later. I realized that maybe I had made a more negative impression than I wanted. It paid off. Once my right ear healed and I could try again, things got better. I'm right-handed and surprised that the beans fitted my left ear easily and worked well. But it was my right ear that needed help and I couldn't easily or comfortably adjust the bean. First. Not perfect yet, but. but persistent. Well worth it .You'll get it I'm used to the whistle when you plug it in. Watching TV and talking in a noisy room is much better with this device It may just take a while for everything to work properly But it will)) It will does everything it promises. It does it very well and very effectively. But there are problems. I have hearing problems, especially in my right ear. But I use this bean in my left ear because putting it in my right ear caused a seizure problem and ended up bleeding that ear. The problem is installing it properly. I imagine this will be a problem for people who are sensitive to their ears. (My late mother, who was claustrophobic and hated anything that touched her ears, is a good example.) Sure, it whistle when you put it in. Of course, there may be background noise if not installed properly. Of course, it can easily become clogged when wax has built up on it. So the installation requires some patience and perseverance. But I think perseverance is worth it. I hear conversations on TV that used to be very foggy. And I can enjoy conversations in noisy public places. The main background sound remains the same, but the high frequencies are boosted and become much sharper. I don't like using beans when people use knives and forks. The noise is too loud and annoying. But for all the times I've been speechless, this machine is just wonderful. As for the attitude. In my left ear it is simply inserted with the smallest of the three plugs. A little twist when it comes in and it fits perfectly. But not in my right ear. It hurts to put it in, it doesn't fit easily and after a few nights of use it caused a sharp pain in my eustachian canal, it was hard to get it out and my ear was bleeding. Presumably due to a scratch in the duct just after the initial impact and bend. I give it five stars because it does what it's supposed to do and at a reasonable price (compared to hearing aids). But fit issues are likely to limit customers who would otherwise enjoy the beneficial and life-enhancing benefits of this device.
