Review on 🐶 Pet Life Hounda Accordion: Metal Framed Dual-Sided Expandable Dog Crate by Tiffany Santos

Great concept and lots of space but some design flaws

I really like this concept. With my 2 10 week old Chihuahuas it's like having a 3 bedroom apartment. It's strong, at least for my pups. But there are some design flaws.1. The side rail, which folds like an accordion, doesn't want to stand up. Because it hangs down, it's too easy for a puppy to let it down. Perhaps it could have a cord that attaches to the main compartment to support the net so it stays higher and doesn't dangle on the floor. 2. Plush mat in each compartment and all 3 are covered with plastic wrap. None are written off. The mat in the main compartment is lined with 1/16 inch (or thinner) polystyrene and opens up so the mat can be tossed in the washing machine. BIG FAILURE .2 side mats are sewn into main compartment seam and cannot be removed for washing. WHAT DID YOU THINK! Even with the potty down, accidents happen, from food spills to urine/whatever accidents are. The only solution is to hose down the entire box when the side mats would be easier to hold with velcro. Loop tape for easy removal and washing.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some problems
