Let me start by saying that in the twenty years before I bought this I've worn about a skirt and never want to wear pants again. Just these skirts, forever. It's dramatic of course, but I can't stress enough how comfortable this skirt really is! I was worried it would tighten the waist, but it stretches quite well. I tend to vacillate between a dress size of 1x or 2x (5'5", 215lbs) and I'm glad I bought the smaller size for this skirt. I'd say if you're buying online of clothing have trouble choosing between a size up or down, I would buy the smaller size for this particular skirt.The skirt is very flowy, I love twirling around like an overzealous golden retriever and have had a few compliments on it It's a fun, flirty little style that can be worn up or down.I'm definitely planning on getting at least one other skirt in a different color, but as I mentioned, I intend to only wear this skirt at all times.You will not regret buying it, especially if this is your first time (as a plus size person like me) trying out more feminine styles.You won't be embarrassed in this skirt.I wear mine with leggings because it's a bit short for m I is (approx. 2.5 cm above the knee), but also this skirt can be pulled up or down very easily.
