Installation was fairly easy. The only problem I had was the initial connection to the phone after installing the doorbell. My phone didn't connect at first, but after toggling the doorbell on and off (toggling the switch on/off) it connected immediately. Then I had no problems connecting the doorbell to WiFi or a wireless ringer. It costs less than a Hi-Ring or a Jack, and there are no recurring fees, making it significantly cheaper over time. The video quality is pretty good and it does a good job of informing me about people and I've only had a false alarm or two. I like the picture of the person sent in the push notification. Currently, the doorbell doesn't record continuously, only based on motion activity. Since it stores data locally and isn't battery powered, it would be nice if you could set it to write all the time. Also it will be good once they add the integration to home base as at the moment it only has 4GB of onboard storage but I think that's planned. It also doesn't currently support face recognition. I would also like to be able to set the on/off time of the sound signal and not just a switch. Also, it would be nice to integrate IFTTT, although Eufy has repeatedly discussed whether they will support it. Last thing that would be nice would be Google Home (hub) integration. If they could add a notification to the Google Home and also show it on the hub when someone is at the door that would be great and would also reduce the need for a separate doorbell. ---------- ------ 2 months update In general, the doorbell still works fine. However, every day I get 10-20 "human" notifications in the morning and evening, either via a tree or a railing (both in the photo). It doesn't happen during the day, but it happens every day. It would be nice to be able to say it's not human or report a false positive. The only option they have is to donate videos, which I have done, but who knows if they will do anything with the donated videos. Finally, the other day the video got messed up (last photo). You could still hear the sound, but you couldn't see anything. It seemed to resolve on its own within a day, but I had no idea what had happened.
