I really wanted to like this product. I've used Ring in the past and currently have Nest Hello installed. I've never been happy with the latency (over 6 seconds) on Nest products and especially Hello. But I like the full plate aspect. Installation was easy for the most part. The instructions in the application are the same as in the paper book, where everything is clear. I quickly unplugged the old doorbell and put on the new one. The problems started when I turned on the doorbell. I was so upset I almost gave up and sent it back. Installation was fairly easy. The only problem I had was the initial connection to the phone after installing the doorbell. My phone didn't connect at first, but after toggling the doorbell on and off (toggling the switch on/off) it connected immediately. Then I had no problems connecting the doorbell to WiFi or a wireless ringer. It costs less than a Hi-Ring or a Jack, and there are no recurring fees, making it significantly cheaper over time.
