The doorbell camera works very well and the app is decent too. + easy integration with Alexa (just shows the picture on voice command). The picture is pretty good, the field of view is wide and has a decent vertical range, allowing you to see both up and down and side by side. Installation and setup was easy, and I particularly appreciate the included "wedge" that allows the camera to be pointed 15 feet left or right. I also like the camera's built-in fisheye distortion correction - makes the picture look pretty good. between a flying bug, a car speeding down the road, and a person walking towards them - simply adjust the range of motion and sensitivity to suit your setup. A few things to know: It uses the existing doorbell wiring BUT it bypasses the existing doorbell. I was disappointed that it couldn't match the existing doorbell (some other brands can). The kit includes a hop that you place on existing bell terminals to bypass it. Necessary. Wi-Fi appears to be limited to the 2GHz band. I was hoping to use it on my less crowded 5GHz band but no luck. The built in IR night vision works well but in my case I turned it off as I have a porch light and the picture is good at night. Backlighting on the porch (and in color too!). Since you can't use your existing doorbell, Eufy should offer additional wireless bells as accessories. I really need another one for our two story house. Hopefully they will be available soon.
