I really wanted to like this product. I've used Ring in the past and currently have Nest Hello installed. I've never been happy with the latency (over 6 seconds) on Nest products and especially Hello. But I like the full plate aspect. So when I read the good reviews about the fast acting Eufy product, I was dizzy with excitement. Unfortunately, it has a longer delay (9+ seconds) than my hello, and it doesn't always catch motion. If the camera isn't recording all the time - like the Nest Hello - and I can't rely on it for motion detection, then it doesn't play much of a role as a security device. Thanks to Yufi for trying to make me love that doorbell. I returned the first Eufy doorbell but before I refunded my purchase they said they fixed the WRT lag issue on IOS. I was ready to try again. But in the end, despite continued support from Eufy, the doorbell failed to reliably detect movement, especially in low light and in the dark. I give Eufy an A for effort and an A for execution.
