I had high hopes for this product having used several other eufy products. When it arrived I unpacked it, watched the installation video and got to work. The first thing I noticed was that I have a newer house and the existing doorbell is electronic and not the mechanical doorbell that had a video. I couldn't find instructions anywhere on how to handle this type of doorbell (I ended up just leaving it on and it worked fine). Next came the installation of the doorbell itself. After drilling the holes and inserting the anchors, I found that our screws were too short. It took some time to fix this issue, but eventually everything was installed. After downloading the firmware update, installation was straightforward. The user interface is confusing in places. This definitely requires some work, especially in terms of custom zone selection. My biggest issue and why I would NOT recommend this product at this time is that it doesn't record all the events it should. I get a notification that someone is at my doorstep, I click the app and there's nothing. I check the event log and still nothing. It only works about 50% of the time. When it does, it works great, but the other 50% of the time, it's a total failure. Hopefully they can fix that in the next firmware update, but until then it's NOT a PURCHASE!
