**NEVER USE AT HOME **Day 1: Package arrived on time as a gift from my wife. Inside the box were a paddle board, oar (which is in 3 pieces), pump (also in 3 pieces) and fins. The paddle has a standard clamp for the bottom of the paddle and an adjustable top for height and comfort. The pump actually consists of a pump, pressure gauge and hose. Pumping boards takes up a lot of space. I did it on the porch and even from there I had trouble carrying it off the porch once full due to the posts and the size of the board. The pump is easy, just place the meter on the pump upside down and half a turn clockwise and it will turn on. Screw in the hose and lay out the paddle board and you're ready to go. The quick connection to the impeller plate ensures that there is no air leakage between the pumps. I'm a fit adult male but I don't hit the gym every day and let me tell you that a plank pump is like a full tricep workout. It took me 12 minutes to inflate the board to 13psi. The pump and board list two different ranges of 12-15 and 10-15 psi. Once inflated you are ready to go. The middle handle helps you carry the board, but you have to be careful of the wind that pushes the board and makes it difficult to walk. It was time to take it to the beach where there were light waves of around 1-2 feet which made it a bit rough after the break. On the water, I quickly realized that I didn't have balance. For about 15 minutes, I stood for almost 30 seconds and fell. My wife bought this size so we can all get along and let me tell you I had my 2 year old and 7 year old kids on the board and I sat and they rowed and they loved it. It's like a mobile diving board or pool wall wherever you go. The board never felt like it would sink or not be able to support the weight of two adults and two children. That alone made the paddleboard a good buy. Day 2: The water conditions were about the same. Therefore, after researching on the Internet, I found that I was standing on the board wrong. It's not a surfboard, it's not a ski, it's not a snowboard. Paddle Board STAND UP. Just stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Nothing special, just stand up. Today it was stable for 3-5 minutes. Also, I moved more with the current, which helped me not to get caught in small waves that upset my balance. Today I totally fell in love with the board. It's great for all my family members. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because your arms get so tired after inflation that paddling is tiresome when initially manoeuvring. I will review and update the electric pump once I have it and learn more about the board. Overall I recommend this for use by the whole family!
