Review on πŸ₯Š Ultimate Protection for Muay Thai Kickboxing: Sanabul Battle Forged Shin Guards by Sammie Prince

Get the right size!

I've been doing kickboxing/Muay Thai for almost three months. Decided to look for a good upgrade for my eyelid shields. My training partners and I had issues with me and my guards because the eyelids are very thin. Not ideal for long workouts or sparring. I was looking for a good and cheap shin guard to retrofit. Not too happy with these battle-hardened guards just yet; Quality control is not the best. One of the guards had a lot of excess glue on the front fins and upper calf strap. And some stains and something like numbers in there. There are also scratches on the fins. The straps are very wide. Be sure to measure your shins. I had them on a medium size and that strap was almost behind my knee. You really have to twist both straps to get them to sit snugly on your shins. The fins appear to be very long. The toe can touch the ground when I turn around. (I'd say it's a size issue) If you decide to try them out, be sure to measure your shins! I didn't and got too big. I will compare these shin guards to the top kings. Similar thickness but foam is not as dense/stiff. I have to return mine. I really want to try this line of products. I have Thai Battle Forged Pads and am waiting for gloves. I can't wait to try them! I hope this review helps anyone looking for a better one. I love the principle "a little goes a lot"! Focus less on what you use and more on what you do!
