Review on OOSSXX 8 Channel Outdoor Wireless Security by Ryan Richards

The 8 camera system works well and was easy to install. All 8 cameras were immediately recognized by the DVR and started working without any configuration. In my case, one outer wall is fine, but two aren't because the signal was too weak through two outer walls (plaster on wires, foam, BAT insulation, 2x6 construction). However, the relay function works well, so I placed the camera in a location with multiple walls to use another camera as a relay without sacrificing video quality. I also have a camera at about 330 feet with no obstructions and I get good signal and picture quality. The admin system interface on the NVR takes a little getting used to, but works well and is very responsive. The IP Pro app for Android works great with the system. Web access requires the Flash plugin to be running, can be a bit slow, and Flash is outdated in most browsers, but at the time of this review it was working fine in Firefox. Internet access makes retrieving video recordings of movements and alarms fairly trivial. The side power supplies do not fit the outer bubble caps of my external outlets (required by local building codes), but customer service helped resolve the issue. Customer service was quick and professional.
