I thought these cameras were "dual antennas" but they aren't. I've had good luck with this brand in the past, so I continued anyway. I had 7 out of 8 cameras installed and looking through the dash cam before realizing the 6GB hard drive had failed and was not recording. Installed since November 2020 Cameras keep losing connection, reset and everything works fine for a week or two, but they absolutely lose connection. When connected they report strong wireless signals, the only wireless interference would be my home network which doesn't seem to be the culprit. Very disappointed. The 8 camera system works well and was easy to install. All 8 cameras were immediately recognized by the DVR and started working without any configuration. In my case, one outer wall is fine, but two aren't because the signal was too weak through two outer walls (plaster on wires, foam, BAT insulation, 2x6 construction).
