Review on πŸƒ ASICS Women's Versablast – Unleash Your Running Potential with These Superior Running Shoes by Michael Radhakrishnan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No arch support for women

My favorite running/athletic shoe brand is ASICS. I practically live in it during the winter months. And although I no longer run (two knee prostheses) this is the only athletic shoe I will wear because it gives my feet the support they need. They generally have a good grip, are well made and very comfortable. I have a pair for working out, a pair for walking, a pair that I wear when I go to the garden and a pair that I keep clean and tidy when I really want to wear jeans. This is Arizona and we live in jeans here. However, I'm only giving this model 4 stars for fit because they don't have arch support to speak of. When I'm not with ASICS, I wear orthotics with other shoes. I want the comfortable and supportive arch support that all my other ASICS shoes have. Although they are well made, have good construction and materials, and the sole is comfortable, the insole lacks arch support. I feel like my arches need the support of my other ASICS and orthotics. What happened? Where's the arch support? Also, despite the comfort of the tip, I personally find that the tip of this model is too long. They kind of remind me of clown shoes. I have no choice but to wear them after payment, but I must either purchase a Revain arch brace or put my own orthotics in them. This idea really worries me. I bought these shoes because I trusted ASICS to always provide the support and comfort I need. I tried this style thinking I would get the same comfort and support as my Gel 4, Gel 6 and Gel 7. But that is not the case. So if you have arch issues and need more support I would ditch this model.
