I bought this for my son because he is teething. He's not really chewing it yet, but he's holding it and shaking it, so he likes it. I won't give it back to him. I picked it up while playing with it and put it in my mouth to shake it like an idiot. He pinched my lip so hard I blistered. Thank God it happened to me and not him. In addition, there is something like a rope in the loop, so after several washes it is not hygienic to continue giving it to him. It goes in the trash. We bought a rattle/leash from Winkel and he LOVES it.
