This sleek lamp with a modern design is perfect for my nephew who is going to college this fall. Since he's visiting from another country, we're collecting some of the essentials he needs for his dormitory this side of the pond. This lamp is rechargeable and can position the light in any number of configurations. It has about 3 lighting settings when you press the power button, but you can also hold the power button and dim to your preferred level. The base also features a wireless charger for your phone or headphones. It didn't connect very well through my otter case, but it was fine. So it's not as strong as I'd like, but I can live with that. Best of all, it has a USB port and can be plugged into a laptop or wall. It's fully foldable, making it extremely portable, and its lighter weight makes it easy to slip into your computer bag and take with you. My nephew loves the look and how practical it is for his new life as a student.
