This product was for my 93 year old mother who wanted a "palm sized grater". The way this product is disassembled and assembled for use is too complicated for her. While the cheese grater does a great job of grating cheese off the block, Mom can't use it properly because of the clear plastic cup that catches the shredded cheese. If she manages to separate the two components to get the cheese, they will surely fly in two directions and scatter the cheese. If this product was for me, it would be ok (3 stars). Not optimal for mom, but she'll still benefit from the grater and probably won't substitute a vegetable peeler or grater with round holes.
