I had a terrible experience with this water bottle. Yes, it appears to be pure copper (I think) but there's always auricle in the bottle or whatever happens as the copper oxidizes. Thanks to this process, it goes very quickly. I'm talking about the first morning I drank from it! I left the purified water overnight and the next morning my excitement turned into a huge disappointment! The water tasted awful and the inside of the bottle was green! There was even a smell!. Next complaint: the cap arrived very crumpled. And when I received a brand new replacement bottle, there were also scratches and a rattling noise from the cap. I am not one to complain but to be honest I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this product. I'm sticking with insulated stainless steel bottles, so should you.
