I was a little frustrated when deciding on an IPS or TN panel as TN has 6-bit dithered color and IPS has true 8-bit color, but I ended up going with IPS because I was washed out TN displays can't stand colors and banding. Overall, this is a decent budget gaming monitor. This is a big improvement over my previous 24" 60Hz Samsung monitor (VA panel). The pixel response time results in much less ghosting than a Samsung VA panel, with brighter colors and a better viewing angle. You need to enable "adaptive sync" in your monitor's OSD settings for FreeSync to work, and you also want to limit the framerate in your games to 3fps below 75Hz. The absolute best option for consistent framerate is to use Rivatuner's stats server, but this introduces an input lag of 5-7ms, which I don't notice. In Doom Eternal, I get a much smoother experience with Rivatuner capping the game at 72fps and disabling V-SYNC in-game and not an FPS target. Alternatively you can limit the frame rate with Radeon Chill, I find I get the best experience by setting the minimum and maximum frame rate to 72 fps. Frames mostly stay at 72 but also drop. I found Radeon Chill to be MUCH slower than rivatuner. Games) - Use the game console command to set the maximum frame rate. For the price I highly recommend it. No dead pixels either. No longevity yet, I've only been using it for a week.
