Feels like leather, looks like leather. Leather must be! Nice bag, good workmanship. bulky. Highly recommended! I will use it for travel. Wallet and passport fit easily into the zipped compartment. The phone (LG V30) sits comfortably under the flap. Hope the bag lasts a long time. There's a small issue with the magnetic clasp: it doesn't fully snap into place unless you intentionally push it into place. I'm not sure if this is due to a lack of design or workmanship.
