These shoes last as long or longer than N*ke or R**bok.
My 9 year old daughter's second pair, her first pair is over a year old and still looking good and not torn at all. The soles are a bit worn but there is still a lot of life left. Your child should outgrow them before they wear out. She would at least give them to her brother for the game shoes. Her first pair was pink so he probably won't want them lol.
