Too many problems.: Nail Art & Polish

This set is so beautiful right out of the box. Beautiful shapes, beautiful glitter, gold and crystal effect. What's not to like? Unfortunately a lot. First, many of the crystal rhinestones are too large to create any non-random design on most nails. Everything sparkles and I just couldn't figure out how to make a simple flower! Second, nail glue is crap. Basically it's a crazy glue that dries in seconds leaving you no time to glue the rhinestones. After numerous failed attempts, I gave up and sealed the details with clear varnish. Third, many of the gold geometries were curved and unusable, and those that weren't curved were difficult to shape on my test nails and had to be encapsulated in a thick builder gel to smooth the surface of the nail. And finally, and this is important. The back cover of the round rhinestones is at the top of the bevel, not at the base where it should be. The coating should be on the underside of the rhinestone to allow light to reflect through the bevel. This is how the shine is created. I figured out the problem when trying to make a simple pattern using round rhinestones and found that they need to be applied upside down so the sparkles don't confuse? It was! I was able to create some nail designs in the end, but it took longer than usual and a lot of failed attempts. And at least one size of round rhinestones turned out to be defective. This set is great for crafts, but not nail art!
