This bowl is just wonderful, and even though Dad still needs help eating
I got this for my 90-year-old Dad, who has Alzheimer's and is having increasing difficulty eating on his own. This bowl is just wonderful, and even though Dad still needs help eating, it allows him to be just a little bit more self-sufficient than he would be otherwise. One note: It's important to position the bowl so that as the eater gets near the end of the meal, the lip does not obscure the food left in the bowl.
- Combination plate/bowl that has a contoured lip
- The narrow, tall shape of the dish may make it difficult to clean properly, especially in hard-to-reach areas
