This sun shade is good quality and the seams are sewn tightly. And it’s HUGE so we didn’t have to put up several separate ones in order to cover the length of the pool. This shade makes a big difference this year with the constant 100+ degree weather that makes it too hot to be in direct sun. We haven’t had any strong rain but it looks like it will handle it and let the water strain through. These usually last us about 3 years before strong winds or whether start to put some hole in it, so this one lasts longer.
