I like to take my Subaru and reusable shopping bags to the market to buy food stored in bins. (Yes, I'm that guy). After loading two or three large, heavy bags in the trunk, I head home and ride like any other crazy person in town. Due to Isaac Newton's insistence that objects tend to fly in a straight line, untied grocery bags and other objects naturally refuse to hold them and end up all over the back of the car. Solution: This trunk organizer keeps everything from obeying the law. Physics, at least as long as I obey the laws of city traffic. When I make sharp turns, my bags, bottles, and boxes stay in place, and as long as my car doesn't tip over, my groceries are safe all the way home. I will definitely get a second organizer as there is plenty of room in the back. They fold compact enough to fit in a suitcase (for whatever) and are reasonably sturdy.
