First pair of knee pads I've ever used and I fell 4 times in one day. The upholstery was dirty, but the knees felt nothing. I measured the perfect medium sizes on both the top and bottom, but ended up buying the large size as the medium fits very snugly. Large, comfortable and does not slip even on hard rides in 85 degrees and high humidity. Only gripe is that the tender part just behind the knee is a bit annoying at first, but once the ride starts I forget they're even on. Finally, I like the matte finish versus the glossy plastic and the quality is top notch.
