I feel more ruthless

At first I thought they were small, but after checking with customer service G shapes; I have the size They are stuck but stay in place and disappear while driving. I also bought a pair of elbow pads. So far I think I made the right decision.

I don't feel well

I was looking for comfortable MTB knee pads. My gform pro2 elbow pads are amazing. I had high hopes for her. They fit true to size, but are too stiff and pinch my knees when pedaling. I wore them around the house for 2 hours hoping they would stay warm and then drove around my neighborhood but they were so uncomfortable I didn't want to risk not being able to return them. I sent them back.

Pros
  • Absolutely Awesome!

Love them - cycling

First pair of knee pads I've ever used and I fell 4 times in one day. The upholstery was dirty, but the knees felt nothing. I measured the perfect medium sizes on both the top and bottom, but ended up buying the large size as the medium fits very snugly. Large, comfortable and does not slip even on hard rides in 85 degrees and high humidity. Only gripe is that the tender part just behind the knee is a bit annoying at first, but once the ride starts I forget they're even on. Finally, I like the…

The durable G Form Pro kneepad is flexible and lightweight

The durable G Form Pro kneepad is flexible and lightweight. There is a nice thick adjustment strap at the top of the lining that can be tightened around the top of your thigh. It seems like you can slide the pad down to cover most of the calf area, but I have a feeling the knee area should stay over the patella for better protection. I'm not a mountain biker. I got this to protect myself in case I fall off my bike on a leisurely bike ride. I think it will be a good protection but I don't think…

I want to buy POC upholstery

The upholstery is comfortable but the design quality leaves something to be desired. After 6 rides I had to file a warranty claim because the velcro on one pad fell apart. I have about 12 rides with the replacement kit and the stitching is unraveling at the velcro straps as well as one of the main seams. Bad design to have so many open seams on an MTB pad. I have POC VPD 2.0 elbow pads and almost all seams are covered so not in danger. POC and G-Form pads move slightly when you flex your…

Comfort with good protection

Great pads! Comfort, good protection and fixation when pedaling! My only complaint is that they are a little warm and sweat builds up around the kneecaps. Otherwise these are great pads! I haven't fallen while wearing them so I can't give a 100% accurate review but so far they have been good! If there was an option I would give them a 4.5 for protection and pedaling comfort (on cooler days). I wouldn't recommend these pads for cross-country riders, but I would definitely recommend them to…

I liked the pads but poor quality of tailoring

I bought and received on 04/17/2020 G-Form Pro-Rugged Knee Pads (and Elbow Pads). I really like the fit and design of both. However, the sewing quality is very poor. Today is June 4th, 2020. In the 6 weeks I've had them I've worn them maybe a dozen times (I was recovering from a knee injury and wasn't able to use them until May 1st) and the stitching is already in several places on the knee and elbow loose pads (both right and left). I consulted with a local alteration company to actively…

New Pro-Rugged vs Original Pro-X (and Pro-X2)

Over the years I have had 3 pairs of Original Pro-X, a pair of Pro-X2 and now this Pro - Rugged. I'm a mountain biker from the Colorado front range, and I alternate between cool day rides with friends and more aggressive multi-hour adventures out in the country (@iRideDumb if you're into that kind of thing). I keep choosing G-Form knee pads because I prefer to ALWAYS ride cross-country with knee pads on, and the G-Form pads are so comfortable and stay in place that I hardly notice them on my…
