I have had a hum coming out of my speakers for a very long time with the amp on. When I play something, everything looks normal. Cable changed twice. The second cable was better, but it was reduced. It still didn't go away. When I hooked it up to my homemade amp with ICEPower, it was all gone. It's so clear I'm enjoying my amp, Pioneer BS22 LR speakers and Sony SACS9 subwoofer. In terms of cable size, it's thicker than other cables I've had. Don't look for other options as I have tried 2 from Revain myself and wasted my money and time. This is the BEST and solves all connection problems.
