I have an iPad case that sometimes allows the Pencil to charge while it's in the case, but often either the iPad or Pencil needs to be removed from the case to to charge properly. Because it's easier to slip a pencil in and out of your sleeve than constantly pulling the iPad out of its ultra-thin case and risking breaking it, I was looking for something durable to write and draw in, but not as thick silicone, that I couldn't believe it. turn on and off regularly. I really like this case. The pencil still attaches to my iPad with a magnet inside the case, it just isn't strong enough to charge at times.
