Very hot torch for gas welders
Definitely a hot torch. Generates significantly more heat than the bernzomatic TS-8000. It has a slight learning curve to get the right flame/pressure from the regulator. You may need a smaller ferrule for anything less than 3/4 inch copper. You can overheat the torch tip very easily and quickly. The tip turns cherry red if you don't give it enough throttle. Complaints/suggestions are just about how to set the flame properly and have a lighter ready to light the torch. The regulator screws directly into the propane tank, but adapters are required to screw into disposable 1 lb tanks. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
