We read all the great reviews on this product and decided to give it a try in our master bedroom. From a distance it looks great, almost like the original in fact. We hung the reels horizontally and it took about half a day to install just over 5 reels. Be careful not to let the adhesive side touch the other adhesive surface. It takes patience and time to separate the pieces. Vinyl is quite strong and doesn't tear easily unless you make a cut then you have to be careful not to spread the cut. Now to the reason for my bad rating. After a few days we noticed that some edges had come loose from the wall. He got up easily, but one night as we lay in bed we heard paper peeling off the wall. Turn on the light and half the wall collapses. Enter 3m spray adhesive! We now had a couple of shells and used spray adhesive to attach it back to the wall. After peeling it off, it doesn't match exactly, but it's close enough to the color of our paint that it's not visible from a distance. Our walls are painted and the peeling paint hasn't taken any damage so far. Not sure I'll be using it again unless there's a 3M spray adhesive nearby!
