Review on ๐Ÿงฝ OXO Soap Squirting Dish Sponge: Efficient Cleaning with Yellow/Clear/Black Design by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Find a new way to wash dishes. I guarantee OXO will never understand this. They are idiots.

After two or three months of very infrequent use, the soap dispenser's rubber button broke. They use poor quality rubber and make the part too thin. Now soap flows out of the button. Typical rubbish from which country. I will not give the name because I will be censored. Now they're laughing to the bank because more and more stupid Americans are buying this product. Plus, you unscrew the end of the handle to add detergent - a big improvement over the old model. But the engineers messed up the threads on the end of the handle so that when you screw it back in, it doesn't line up with the rest of the handle. The shape of the handle has an oval cross section. If the ovals don't match, the grip will feel awful in your hand. What a joke and so disappointing. The reason OXO became a company was to develop ergonomic excellence in handheld kitchen tools! Sam Farber (1924-2013), co-founder of OXO has to turn in his grave. I am an industrial designer and engineer and I can tell you that designing threads for such consumer products is easy and extremely accurate with modern CAD software. That should not happen. You must rename the company to OXO Bad Grips! We walked on the moon in 1969 and can't keep up with the carving of 2018. It is a pity.
