Slightly obscures the on/off switch but is still accessible. It doesn't have a smart magnetic cover with auto on/off. And it's inconvenient to plug in a tablet for charging, which turns the tablet on and then has to open the lid again to turn it off while charging. The rest of the coating is fine. For me, however, this lack of feature has led me to purchase another smart-enabled case.
